    Just another run after work.
    6 miles on pavement @ 8:40 average pace then
    3 miles on the track @ 7:40 average pace. too many walkers on the track this evening.

      Very strong run Shana. I'm not crazy about running on a crowded track filled with walkers too but it happens. Appreciate the quiet times even more. I guess you ran the track miles at about your ten k pace. Good running!

      Good call on packing it in when the pace dropped. Too many, myself included at times, continue on because they have to "finish the workout". When your pace drops, you *are* finished. :) Nice pace, too!

      Hi Shana, thanks for your comment. I think by running Burnaby Mountain through the summer it will help me in the Victoria Marathon come October. You ran great! I think once I got to Univercity (4 mile mark) I was already very tired. It was very tough for me! Still I did it! No, I don't count walking as part of my running programme. My pace was already over 13 minutes per mile so I don't want to make it slower. I will do better in the weeks to come. Thanks for waiting for me last night. Bob
