  8. RUN
    great 3.1 mi 00:32 10:19 pace

Did some intervals tonight where I ran at a slight incline...I heard it will help make me faster. Getting excited and slightly nervous about my big race 10 days and counting.

  9. RUN
    great 4.4 mi 00:41 09:21 pace

The first two miles seemed harder than the last two. After the run I did four sets of walking lunges. Great workout on my day off!

I think that is a good call on the lunges. I notice that my legs seem to tired before my chest and lungs do. Somebody told me last week to really concentrate on my form when I get tired. Making sure I stay up straight, because we have a tendency to kind of hunch over when we get tired. It seems kind of obvious, but is easier said than done. When I stay up straight, I tend to keep a better stride which helps with my speed. Keep up the good work. You are going to kick butt in your 10k!

I noticed the same thing! I read an article that says we runners need to keep our hamstring strong and advised walking lunges...I try and focus on my form as well. I have a problem with keeping my arms relaxed. It feels weird to have them so low. I just try and shake them out every few miles. It was amazing how sore they were after my big run on sunday. When is your next run?
