    good vibram fives, 21F &brrrr 6.5 mi 00:56 08:38 pace

it was 21F + 15mph wind, felt like 6F... frozen finger, frozen toes. easy enough run but terribly terribly cold. i probably won't be running in my vibram's under 30F again :/

whoa! I am saying that that was a cold run? Great job!!

Cold is not an issue... but wind, ugh. Even 40's with a damp wind can be seriously painful, and you just endured a far more health-threatening situation :D

What if you started another account called Bicyclist Greg? It might be a bit schizo and you'd have to sign in and out, but it might give a more orderly feeling. And you can friend yourself so you'll be in your own feed.

"the run acted exactly as it should, simulating a very fatigued body and legs during an ultra marathon." ...ugh! How did you come up with your training plan, Greg?

    • Greg F.
      Greg F.

my training plan is modeled after an ultra 100 one i found online. it's a long run on saturday (20 to 30 miles) followed by a shorter long run on sunday (10 to 20) to simulate the stress on your body without having to go through all the body tear down a 40+ mile gives you... both hurt tho ;]
