Sometimes I feel like such an outcast in university life!
My prof today told everyone to be safe on St Paddys Day while they drink their asses off and party.
Everyone laughs in agreement to the fact that that's exactly what they'll be doing.
I just kind of sit there and force a grin.
I got home and was locked out of my house and spent about 2 hours in my backyard reading a super emotional book about Communist Czechoslovakia. Then I ate a sandwich for dinner and studied until 8, watched some tv and now it's time for my reading time before sleeping!
Am I really so weird?
I don't drink really, and if I do it's pretty much once, maybe twice a year. Just don't see the appeal!
Tomorrow? 5 miler!
I took today off so as not to irritate my knee, but it felt pretty okay today.

campus University life is nothing I ever want to return to...keep putting your efforts into studies and activities which make you happy---you'll only benefit from this!

Most people in college get screwed up to cope with insecurities -- or because they're still just kids. I was one of them and threw away my running ability at the time. Took me a decade to realize how great it was to be strong and fit and healthy.

I woke up this morning, not hungover, ran 5 miles, showered, ate and now I'm getting a whole lot of reading and studying done. And that certainly makes me feel good!
