I've been in a running funk the past week but I was excited to go on my long run this weekend (16 kilometres). Although I had good intentions and things started out great, it seemed as if everything went wrong. Sore feet, gross energy gel, blaring sun...you name it. After 10K, my body had enough and I needed to stop. I'm still feeling bummed that I didn't finish the other 6K, but listening to my body was more important than finishing today.
