Definitely improvement in the shins. Not perfect, but better. I changed my posture a little and found I could strike more mid-foot with a little bit more forward lean. It helped, although it wasn't the instant cure that I would have liked (but didn't expect) Strength of the anterior tib is still an issue. by 3/4 of the way through, I could tell I was losing form from fatigue, and sure enough, I didn't get my toe up, caught a lifted crack in the sidewalk and did a little face plant off to the side. Nothing hurt except my pride, but it was an obvious message about the strength of my shins (or lack thereof).

Mitch---What a 2009 this is going to be---I am so thrilled for you and I can't wait to get down there and go for a run with you and lindsay!!
