    Ran first half. Than stretched and pulled a hamstring. Had to walk home pretty stiff.

    Slow but steady. Lots of deer out there in the dark. The skyline was beautiful with all the lights from the houses below.

    I got lost a few times. Some slick ice down from curley's into battle. Legs felt good.

      We hit that slick ice too on Saturday- but we were coming up it from Battlecreek - kept sliding backwards.

      It is a bit scarier going down. Some of those trails are very narrow and steep.

    Ran most of the second half with no significant pain. Now I can rest it the over the weekend.

    The first mile and a half were steep uphill. I was sliding back half a step for every step I took. Snow at the top and some ice. Great run. Fun sliding down into dry canyon on the snow and ice.
