      Sounds lovely. I need to find a great running buddy like that (hubby doesn't run) who helps keep me centered and real. I have been struggling with a ego that wants to push hard and a body that doesn't.

      David, I mentally checked-out and almost stopped at mile 11.5. I was too far from home to stop/walk with zero options to call for a ride. Maybe that lack of visual stimulus was part of the challenge. Good call.

      Fourth place is fantastic. And good run to. Advantage: How older you are how shorter the list. In Paris there where only 1100 runners out of 40.000 in 60 class. Haha.
