    Black Forest Section 16 7.64 mi 01:25 11:07 pace

  2. RUN

Quick loop around Grand View, Palmer Point, and Templeton trails before coffee with friends.

  3. RUN
    Section 16 5.32 mi 01:23 15:40 pace

With Tess. We were going to do the Incline, but there were too many people. Glad we didn't give up!

  4. RUN
    4.1 mi 00:40 09:45 pace

Treadmill progression. 1 mi at 8:30 pace.

  5. RUN
    Neighborhood loop 5.51 mi 00:52 09:31 pace

Had a spectacular trip on some uneven sidewalk about two blocks from my house! Awesome! Almost didn't happen but so glad I forced myself.

  6. RUN
    Section 16 5.2 mi 01:20 15:23 pace

Not exactly a blazing effort on this trail (I've done it in probably 1:05 or so before), but just what I needed to relieve some stress and restore normalcy. One of my favorites.

I'm with you on the daylight savings. So stupid. Apparently they have shown that it reduces energy costs. Maybe we just don't appreciate it like we should.

check out my article on Ute Valley in next week's Cheyenne Edition. It is a gem to be sure and possibly one of the lesser known parks in the area. Did you know there's a possibility it could double in size?

  8. RUN
    good Incline 3.5 mi 01:20 22:51 pace

Not too bad going up, crazy slippery coming down!

  9. RUN
good Pulpit Rock 3.5 mi 00:50 14:17 pace

This park is not conducive to steady runs. Cool view from the top, though!

  10. RUN
good Neighborhood loop 4.36 mi 00:42 09:33 pace

    Felt great to get out.

  11. RUN
    good Incline 3.5 mi 01:30 25:42 pace

This kind of sucks in the daylight, now that it's legal! So many people! :)

  12. RUN
good easy prog 2.31 mi 00:20 08:39 pace

Failing at getting up early lately. Better than nothing! Tabata sprints at the end.

I read about it in Runner's World.. they suggested doing 8x10 sec all-out sprints with 20 sec rests. It takes 4 mins and it is hard!

"…getting up early lately." Whaaa? are you channeling Yogi Berra (ask your Dad if you don't know Yogi) So where does the name Tabata come from? Is it an Indian word for masochistic?

    Yoga in Sedona 01:15

An interesting combo of vinyasa and hot poses. I thought the class was winding down, but then she added harder vinyasa stuff. I would definitely go back to this studio (Sedona Hot Yoga) if I'm... read more
