good Mild morning run 4.19 mi 00:38 09:04 pace

It was perfect running weather this morning! Just under 40 with minimal wind. I was glad that I was up and out the door. Warm in just a single layer of long sleeves with a short sleeve under it.... read more

Got a "good job Sarah D" in standing bow pulling pose and then proceeded to fall out about 5 times. ha! Overall a good class though.

  3. RUN
good "long" run. 4.59 mi 00:43 09:22 pace

Chilly! First run in full length tights. Still relatively mild (~35-ish) considering we're going to get much colder weather in the upcoming months, so I'm still at the stage where I can enjoy runni... read more

  8. RUN
great sunny Saturday running 3.64 mi 00:33 09:05 pace

  10. RUN
great Illinois Marathon 26.2 mi 03:46 08:38 pace

I trained aggressively for this race, given that it’s a spring marathon and I have a not so stellar track history with the “winter training” thing. I went into training with the goal that I wanted... read more

      A) Awesome. B) Yay Shark Bandit/Lit! C) LOL @ "Chicked," I guess I'm secure in my manhood. I know there are plenty of women faster than me. I like the view when they pass by. D) Mile 12 - I 'missed' that marker, too. Glad to know it wasn't just me. E) Mile 15 is a physical and mental BITCH. It's where I lost Tim last year and where I was looking for a sag wagon this year. F) F that hill. G) I beat you in the last .2 ;) The only thing I did 'fast' all day. H) Congrats again. Beast.

    good sunny & windy 16 16.01 mi 02:24 09:00 pace

This kind of weather is much more like it. windy, but it was coming from the W/NW, so it never really felt totally head-on. And the fact that it was sunny and warmish made the wind not seem so ho... read more

  12. RUN
good Last LT 4 mi 00:31 07:49 pace

Felt great. Haven't done a 4 mile LT run since December or something crazy, so it was weird to have so few miles to focus on. Also have been spending more time doing VO2 max workouts, so it's bee... read more

  14. RUN
    good recovery 6 6 mi

Always nice to do an easy after work run with Josh D. Didn't take our watches, but we were both ok with that. Running skirt and t-shirt weather, so I can't complain too much. :)

alright One last long run. 17 mi 02:44 09:39 pace

Running 17 miles on a Tuesday night is never the greatest feeling in the world, but I have to say it wasn't too terrible. Originally had hoped to do this on Monday since the Shuffle postponed my l... read more

    alright shuffle 4.97 mi 00:39 07:52 pace

meh. it went ok. I'm not unhappy with this performance, but I was hoping to take 5-10 more seconds per mile off my pace. Considering I did a 7 mile tempo at 7:55 pace, I wasn't totally excited b... read more

alright Run home + intervals 8 mi 01:15 09:24 pace

Will fill in details later when I'm near my Garmin, but this went ok. Had a hard time knowing my pace on the intervals, but that's to be expected since I wasn't on a track.
