My runs are so Jekyll and Hyde lately. First 4 miles = awful, sluggish, zero energy. Last 6 miles = fabulous. We're talking 45-60 seconds per mile faster, consistently. I don't get it.

Steve - I was telling my husband about it on Sunday and he confirmed - we're old. Says he deals with it all the time, though not quite to the extreme of my recent runs. I'm using it as motivation. If I can't be Benjamin Button, I can just increase my endurance and hope it helps.

That definition of neat sounds about right when talking about wind. Nice run anyway!
