C25K Week 5 Day 2. Two intervals of 8 minutes running with a 5 min walk between. I slowed my pace when it got tough, but I did the full 8 minutes. Since it was on a treadmill, and the next time I run will be at a track, I might repeat W5D1 of 5 min intervals. W5D3 has a 20 min straight run. I don't think I can do that on a track...yet. We'll see. Maybe I'll surprise myself. I actually planned tonight to "try" 8 minutes, but revert back to W5D1 w/ 5 min intervals if it was too tough. It was tough, don't get me wrong, this is running we are talking about. It sucks. I still don't like it. But I can do it. I can do it.

    You CAN do it! And the 20 minute run is 90% mental and the rest is physical. If you go in thinking you won't be able to, you won't be able to. But I like the idea of going back to 5 min intervals on the track, especially considering your struggles outside. REGARDLESS! Congrats on 8 minutes straight (twice!) on the 'mill! That is awesome and you have come a long way!
