Another attempt at last weekends route... went the correct way at Siddick Pond this week (helped by some daylight!) but then got all confused in Maryport about which way to go. Looking at the map now I can see that the way I was going to plump for would have been right, but as this was a "pre-work" run, I couldn't risk going over my time too much so I elected to pretty much go back the way I came.
Still clocked up 18 miles so it's perfectly fine for a Friday ride.
Three things worth noting:
1) My feet get extremely cold after about an hour
2) Cyclists are friendlier than runners (this may be controversial, but there it is)
and
3) My asthma is quite badly affected by cycling - or maybe it's just cos it's cold still early in the day.
Enjoyed the ride, anyway. Took the padded cycle shorts to try out today and not sure if I was impressed or not tbh, but I'm sure they will make their value felt on longer rides!

4)Looks good in cycle shorts!

Well done! On any distance over 32k padded shorts come in REAL handy!

Shame about the asthma! Hope you work out what to do with that. You need to buy some gators :)

I think it was just cos of the very cold air, Jo. It didn't give me a problem during the ride, but testing afterwards my stats were significantly down :-/
