alright C25K...a re-do...in the wilderness... 2 mi 00:31 15:30 pace

Today I did something totally nuts. I rulked OUTSIDE. Yup. In the wilderness of das city.

It was freakin' weird.

What they say about running (or in my case, rulking) on a treadmill being easier than running on the earth...is damn true. So this is me, tipping my giant jealous shaped hat to all your road runners.

In a word. Ouchiepants.

I decided that since I've been a calorie consuming slug the past week, I'd punish myself by backtracking my C25K schedule to week 1. Which I know isn't like I really went that far back in time...let's be honest...this is a sloooow road. But that's hunky dory...as long as I don't die from any more episodes of Earth vs. Sara, we're good to go.

In other news, I finally made an appointment to see the doc about why I always feel tired as a log. I've heard from my friends it could be anything from my sinus' being bitches to thyroid crud. Let's hope it's the former & not the latter. Friday is D Day (diagnose day) so cross your fingers I'm just psychosomatic & there's nothing actually wrong. Well....then again.....

Also, I decided that I REALLY want to run the Army Ten Miler in October in Washington DC. I know. Sexy, right? Tis truth. Today when I was rulking around my fair city I imagined the light house was the Lincoln Memorial & the Italian Community Center was....well...the Italian Community Center....that place is friggin' weird with it's little fountain lady. Anyhoo....I really want to do it & I really hope I can.

Now I'm off to broil up some tilapia & eat it with my eyes closed imagining it's ribeye. Oh yeah. Good times.

Dipity out.

Your exhaustion could also be anemia, as is common with women in their 20s. I started taking a daily multivitamin which has 100% of my iron needs in it and I've felt much more chipper lately!! Make sure they test your hemoglobin/hematocrit while you're there as well as your iron level!! :)
