I'm putting a BIG smiley face on this primarily for the pace. My mapped distance is a little long per our instructor so 1 mile (on their markings) at 8:59, running through soup, as one of the guys called it. The humidity was THICK this morning. But hey, I'm happy. 8:59? Hell, yeah.

    @Sara H. and @Heather J. - HA! I think they have a short course - another reason for a Garmin to ensure it's a full mile). And there's a nice hill on the way back. BUT I will take this for what it's worth and hope it helps me next week when I have my work fitness test and have to do this plus a half mile more. :)
