This morning I went for a run with my mom! My parents are in town and as I was getting ready, she asked if she could come, and of course I said yes :)
I felt stronger today and more confident. My knees didn't even twinge and my hips were great. The last couple of days I woke up very stiff (after my first run) and I was a little concerned that today might be difficult. I was pleasantly surprised.
After the run, I had some chia with raspberries, blueberries, banana, and raw honey. Plus a big glass of water with all my vitamins. Feeling great!
I really like running first thing in the morning...it sets the tone for the rest of my day.
**I used the mapping feature this time to figure out distance, but I think it might be a little long. We probably did 2 miles.


Way to go! It will keep getting easier and easier.
