Instead of meeting the team in Valpo at 7:30 am, I made a last minute decision to register for the 5K behind my neighborhood. I was nowhere near prepared, but figured I had nothing to lose even if I ended up walking at the end. The joke was on me, because my shins were so sore I could hardly walk at all after 1.5 miles. I don't know why it's getting worse... suck.
