74 deg 100% humidity! Just 10 to end the month. I think that makes about 316 miles for the month. 6 in a row over 300! Never could have imagined that at the beginning of this year! best of all, injury free. Nothing special with this run, just tried to keep it steady and not push much. Felt solid even though the humidity does make breathing a little more labored. Splits were:8:17, 7:57, 7:51, 7:55, 7:43, 7:37, 7:47, 7:55, 7:40, 7:30. Have a fabulous Friday!

Excellent job on your monthly miles! How many pairs of shoes do you go through in a year by the way?

@Liz I normally go about a month and a half a pair. But I rotate Brooks Pure Connect for road and hard path, Nike Free's for TM, and have 2 pairs of trail shoes.

That's a pretty run Sang. Love when DD runs in the 7:40s in that humidity can come w/out pushing much. Looking strong!

Have a wonderful day yourself! So glad you've kept up with running so well and kept yourself injury free. That is certainly a goal of mine too! I'm surprised with the huge jump from Feb to March you didn't get injured! Amazing!!

@Brie yeah I know! Kind of blows the 10% rule out of the water. Most of those miles in March were considerably slower than I had been used to running! I had just run a sub 1:36 HM early in March then started my ramp up running mostly between 8:30-9:00/mi pace. That really helped my body get used to the mileage. Plus lots of double run days helped get my mileage up yet lowering risk of injury!
