74 deg 100% both start and finish! What a rough run! I have had a series of great runs but this was not one of them. The pace was ok but it was a fight to get the miles in. Not sure what the deal was but tomorrow is another day! Splits were:7:58, 7:45, 7:41, 7:28, 7:26, 7:35, 7:26, 7:32. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

awesome run Sang!!

The deal was that you were outside in the tropical depression! I didn't think the weather could get worse, but today was definitely miserable. I think these times are pretty remarkable considering. I'm sure it was more the perceived effort. I'll bet within two more weeks, we'll see some decent temps/humidity levels return!

Doesn't look like a rough run to me :) You rocked it!

Great job Sang. The humidity slows me way down, so the fact that you kept your pace up with 100% humidity is amazing.

Just shows how mental all of this really is - as it certainly doesn't show as a bad run! Good job getting through it today, hope your string of good runs come back soon :)

I still think you had a great run- nice work! Question- do you stop to hydrate at all when you run? Just curious if you keep this pace without stopping bc it really is amazing!

Your distance and pace are great as usual. The perception of exertion will be better next time. Way to hang in there.

@Krista normally I don't hydrate unless I run longer than 13 miles.

@Kristin hmmm? Maybe but in looking back I dint hydrate enough before the run! I'll test my theory in the morning?

It seems like everyone's body has days when it just doesn't work quite right... Look at Ryan Hall in the Olympics, he can run consistent sub-5s but that day he DNF'd. I know you'll respond better on the next run!

Way to power through the miles! And yes, in the words of Scarlet O'Hara, tomorrow is another day!

Great job on your run. Probably feeling a little culmulative fatigue, it kind of sneaks up on you! Your pace was still rockin. Hope you feel better on the next one :)

That happens to me as well. Sometimes it's a struggle for no apparent reason. Still a good run though.
