73 deg and 92% humidity@ Start 77 deg 87% humidity@end. Needed to do my hills today, so I did an easy 3 then hit Atl. Country Club for some rolling hills. Last time I ran this stretch I lost about 10 sec/mi on the hills, so my goal today was to keep my average pace the same. The first climb is the worst rising 120ft in about .11 miles then up and down for a couple of miles. That was a tough mile but recovered ok and actually dropped 6sec/mi off of my average pace. That felt great! Splits were:8:33, 8:23, 8:20, 8:31(start of the hilly part), 8:15, 8:02, 8:24, 8:22, 8:06, and 7:56. Hope everyone has a great workout today!

Amazing work on the hills Sang. Way to meet your goal today. You should be proud!

You've soared again to the top of my weekly miles chart, Sang! Really great job on those hills (cringes in memory of them) today. Do you ever get home and showered, only to crash for a nice nap? I've done that a couple times after hard workouts, and it feels delicious! Your marathon training is going tremendously well!

You're like that guy on the phone commercial where he turns on his music and starts going and just goes and goes and goes and goes and then all of a sudden he's run out of town! LOL! Great job on your miles!

@Gail it is funny because I was looking at my month and realized that this is least I have run since March. Top of the leader board, huh? I am 5th on mine. It has taken like 90 miles the last several weeks to top my list.
@Karla I wish that was the case. I run these routes so much I know exactly which turn to make to go whatever distance I was planning!

Great job on those hills Sang! Someday I want to be able to get to where you are (or close). You seem like you never tire! It's awesome :)

@Brie you can. Just don't do it the way I did and double your mileage in a month. I have been fortunate to stay injury free.

Heh, I won't! I'm in a gradual training program right now until mid-Oct. After that I'm planning on taking a couple weeks rest then easing into marathon training and ramping it up! I don't know if I'll ever log more than 50 miles a week, but getting out there for 7-10 miles 5 or 6 days a week sounds pretty good to me! You are very fortunate to be injury free! I'm cautious as torn cartilage in my knee last year set me out for 3 months, but I think I can get there by early next year!

Great hill work out in that humidity. I generally don't mind humidity but 92% is pretty soupy. I'll quote a friend, 'like running through a wool sweater' LOL!
