73 deg 92% humidity @ start and 80 deg and 77% humidity @Finish. Wanted to get a long run in so I set out to my normal 15 mile route. I knew this was going to be a problem as I stepped out my door around 7:15 and it was warm and muggy. Then I get to the parking lot and my iPod is dead. Part of running is overcoming the mental challenges, I know that no music isn't a huge deal for many of you but it is for me. So I didn't want to spend to much time thinking about it and headed down the path. Nice mix of crushed gravel path, roads, and paved bike path. Also, a little bit of elevation change to stir things up. Wanted to get 15 miles in between 7:44-8:44/mi pace. Legs felt good and settled in to a pretty steady pace. Grabbed water at 5 and 10 miles, no fuel. Splits were:8:21, 8:11, 8:07, 8:13, 8:15, 8:22, 8:27, 7:51, 8:14, 8:01, 8:16, 8:18, 8:10, 8:10, 7:51. Off to soak in the tub! Have a great Sunday!
