68 deg and 82% humidity. Just set out for some easy recovery miles. Tried to stay between 8:30-8:45/mi. Was successful for the most part. Had a couple in the high 8:20s and a couple around 8:50 but felt nice and relaxed. I lost a bunch of water weight on the 1st day of the juice fast, so trying to stay hydrated in this humidity will be a challenge. Overall felt really glad that I am learning how to run an easy pace.

Great job Sang. I am glad the juice fast is going well for you. It has been many years since I did one of those and I didn't exercise during it . Keep hydrated for sure. This humidity is something serious!

Good job keeping an easy recovery pace! I think I need to shake up my workouts a bit and to try to follow some sort of plan. Good luck with the new diet plan. After the initial phase, it will be interesting to read about how it changes your running and your overall energy. I think you could sell more than a few books if you chose to write about all this!

@Gail I am trying to have a specific purpose for each run. I kind of have a plan in my head but nothing definitive. I am interested as well to see what my body will do when it isn't having to process a bunch of junk.

Nice run Sang. Juice fast?! Yikes - that does not sound like fun but I bet it helps with weight loss. I am experimenting with a low gluten plan (cannot eliminate completely) which seems to working.

@Tad it isn't so bad during the day but hard at night. Just doing 3 days to help transition into a better eating plan. Gluten free takes lots of thought and planning. Amazing how many things have gluten.
