59 deg and 70% humidity and sunny! Perfect weather for a birthday run! I wish I could say that I had this planned out but I am not the detailed or organized but it was nice to end my 100+ mile week on my 41st birthday. My present to myself was a short, recovery run before I start focusing on the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th. It has been an awesome 11 week base building period that has hopefully prepared me for some intense race specific training! Today was very relaxed except for the last mile, which I pushed to give my body a taste of what is to come in the near future. Splits were: 8:46, 8:37, 8:26, 8:40, 8:37, 8:37, and 6:04! I am looking forward to the next phase of training! Have an awesome Sunday!
