68deg 75% humidity. A little less humid this morning, so it felt great! After yesterday's hilly runs, wanted to keep it nice and flat! Didn't really know how far or fast I wanted to or could run today, so I just set out down the dirt path. Legs felt tired, lungs felt ok and I was settling into an 8:30/mi pace, so decided to stick there which is well within my long run pace range. Ran 4 and hydrated then wanted to pick it up a little and run 8:15/mi pace for the next 4. After that 4, hydrated again and set out on Columns to run the 5 mile loop. Was planning to try and drop it to 8:00/mi pace but my legs said uh-uh! So I settled into the 8:15-8:30/mi range. Came back a little over 13, so ran back out to get an even mileage. 77 deg when I finished! Felt good to maintain my pace on tired legs. Splits were:8:30, 8:27, 8:31, 8:27, 8:13, 8:18, 8:23, 8:14, 8:21, 8:22, 8:23, 8:04, 8:13, and 8:24. Hope everyone is having a Happy Hump Day!
