Nice easy pace trail run with Rob C. , Gail N. , Libby and Paul. We started at the trailhead off of Kennesaw Ave and it was nice and cool 65deg and 80%humidity. We headed out to run to Kolb Farm and back avoiding Pigeon Hill as Gail and Paul are running the Twisted Ankle marathon next weekend. Nice rolling hills until we cross over Burnt Hickory and Gail took a nasty fall. Took a few minutes to regroup and pressed on. The run was filled with conversation which helped the time go by faster. It started to warm up but went through about 40 oz of water and powerade on the run so no hydration issues. Felt great to run a slightly slower pace on this run. I have really enjoyed running the trails this week but ready to get back to the roads. Hope everyone has a great weekend and good luck to all of you who raced or will be racing this weekend!
