82 deg and 62 % humidity. Warm afternoon run. Started out running on pavement to a short traiil and starting to feel more nimble on the trails. Then 2.5 miles on packed gravel path. Water break and then 7 miles on roads and the last 2.1 on the path again. Legs felt ok not great but not awful. This base cycle is going better than the last one in terms of soreness as well as pace and distance. Amazing how quickly the body responds to training. Splits were:8:56, 8:13,8:22,8:15,8:13,8:22,8:04,8:12, 8:08, 8:13,8:09,7:54, 7:36, and :57 for the last .12 mile. Feel good about dropping the pace the last 2 miles.Have an awesome Friday!
