haven't run any long runs since I sprained my ankle a couple of weeks ago and figured I better seeing how I have 2 and half weeks left before my half. 1 mi wu in 8:45 then 7 mi at 7:35 /mi pace with 2 mi cd. Felt good at that pace even though I have 15 more seconds to shave off. Considering the double yesterday I am happy with it.

Nice run!

Great job buddy. I don't think that ankle is going to slow you down one bit and I'm still looking for a 1:35 from you at Seaside!

Great run, Sang! To answer the question you had in your comment on my workout, my goal for my half next weekend is sub-1:40. Looks like you're shooting for faster for your race.

2 weeks ago I was thinking 1:35 if all fell into place but I sprained my ankle and still not ther but my original goal was/is 1:38. I ran 1:40:51 at the Publix last march for my first hm. Which one are you running?

Locomotive Half in Kennesaw on Sunday, then the Publix Half next month.

That is awesome! Looks like you are on pace to beak your goal. Short turnaround between the two!

Well with stats like that, whenever you do decide you're ready for a full, you'll be one of those crazy sub-3 elite runners!
I am running the River Towns marathon in Danville, PA on May 5th, but I'm horribly slow. I was never a runner, and never thought I would be, so I figure if I can complete 26.2 miles at ANY pace, I'll be thrilled. Your numbers are great motivation, though!

Well you are a runner now! Seeing how I have never run longer than 13.1 miles, I have a long way to go but thanks again for the encouraging words.

That's a good run but don't over do it on the ankle. I have experienced that same injury and did too much on it too soon and it never healed properly. Now I get an ache and some throbbing when I do too much on it and I have to constantly crack/pop it as it feels jarred.
