Thank you, sir. Couch to 5k is treating me pretty well so far. Finally feeling good after runs, not completely exhausted.

Working on building up my stamina. Legs full of jelly.

  3. RUN
good Wyman Park 2 mi 00:30 15:00 pace

I'm continuing the Couch to 5k program. Definitely getting easier. Knee started bothering me soon after I started. Hopefully a knee brace will help with that.

  4. RUN
    alright 2 mi 00:21 10:30 pace

Not too shabby. I feel like I'm getting into a rhythm and not pushing myself too hard. Two of my toes are bothering me and blistering from rubbing up against each other when I run. I should probab... read more

mmm, i saw your breakfast taco pictures - I was so jealous.

with the blistering, it could be your socks. balaga & smartwool are good investments if you think you'll stick with running. could also be your shoes. when you get a chance, stop by Charm city in timonium. everyone there is SO helpful, nice & friendly.

I'm glad it's starting to feel better overall and you're finding your pace and rythym. it gets to be addictive eventually :)

  5. RUN
    tired 1.5 mi 00:16 10:20 pace

My back is still bothering me so I took it easy and stopped short of my goal. Walked to round out the 2 miles. Reward: epic magical lasagna.

  6. FIT
    blah 2 mi 00:09:30 04:45 pace

Legs felt stiff, so I did a quick ride on the bike to try to loosen them.

  7. RUN
    blah 2 mi 00:20 10:00 pace

Quick treadmill run. My back hurt today so I took it slow. Soundtrack: Be Your Own Pet (again). Reward: cheese (the best reward)!

  8. FIT
    alright 4 mi 00:16 04:00 pace

I did the bike first, then the treadmill. I think I might switch it up next time. My legs were jello 1/2 way through the 3 mile run.

  9. RUN
    alright treadmill 3 mi 00:36 12:00 pace

I can see the treadmill getting uber boring uber fast. Going to invest more time in running trails. Went a little slower than expected, but I'm going to blame that on the ridiculously hot gym. Soun... read more

  10. RUN
good Ma & Pa Trail 2.5 mi 00:27 10:48 pace

Wow, nice start to a running lifestyle! I used to live in NoVA so I know the weather's no joke. Two thumbs ups for that. Now...do it again. :)
