      Started riding again? Come on, dude. Next weekend you're in too. Also think about Gokarna. Peaceful riding, maybe 100km per day. Beeyootiful roads, no traffic. How much do I have to sell it? :)

      Not yet man.. Fixing my head now :) Hoping to start in a couple of weeks.. Gokarna sounds real good but dont think will be ready by March to ride that much. Plus really f'ked up at work. 2 weeks is out of the questions..

    Felt good.. Wanted to do more but the darn saddle can only take that much of my bum. Gave way just above the 1 hour mark.. Have to get the nut tighter!!

      Dude, same problem with my Mach. I moved the saddle forwards. So torque on the clamp is greatly reduced considering my weight lol. It's ok for now.

    just couldnt ride for more than 30 mins. was too hungry.. tried to have an energy gel and half an energy bar and continue riding. But was too gone. Dangers of not having a good breakfast!!

      Which trainer? I hated life on the Minoura Magnetic unit, but since I've gotten the Kurt Kinetic, it's a lot nicer.

      weather is better for a couple of pegs in the evening and sleeping-in in the morning :) but seriously, would love to get out.. Just too much work to take the time out.. Plus, cant beat the flexibility of the trainer wrt to time of day..

      I bought these ones from Decathlon.. Really suck when you get mud on it. So I guess these are good MTB pedals as long you stay on road :) Any off-roading plans, ask your friend to stay away from these or ride barefoot back home !!

      Friend in question is Murthy, but I think he is sticking to sandals as per latest update. How do Shimano pedals handle mud any better? Design is the same right?

      Oh!! for his touring bike, the wellgo pedals should do. Plus it will be fun to watch his fun :) just started my research on pedals. So not sure if Shimano is better. But Madman was telling that Time pedals do a much better job of removing mud .. Reviews seem to support this..

      Oh, Long story!! Broke my left leg playing football a few years back.. Had an ACL reconstruction. Screwed up on physio and during recovery, right leg got worn out.. Hip is gone because of the back-kick from my thunderbird. Shoulder and neck have some inflammed muscles..

    Woke up late.. so wifey and I went for quick spin in IRR.. Nice loop if you go early.. traffic gets bad later.. Was spent at the end of the ride.. Need to be able to sustain it for longer rides..

      Sampath, IRR is pretty decent upto about 7:15 or so. I use it for short intervals/recovery rides etc. We should meet up there sometime.

      doc, thats what I figured.. got back home around 7:15 when it started getting bad. Sure, let me know when you are planning to ride next. The IRR looks like a nice option for short 1 - 1.5 hour rides.. Met another person doing loops on the road. Arvind or Ankur or something similar. Damn!! I am so bad with names!! Was riding a firefox road bike..
