Runkeeper app run 5 mi 00:45 09:00 pace

As an alternative to getting a Garmin I downloaded the Runkeeper app and ran with my iphone. It worked pretty well and the website it links to gave me splits, an elevation graph, a map, and more stats. Pretty handy!
Did 5 easy miles with some strides. Splits:
