my plan for the day involved only two 1600's so i went at it a little more aggressively. it hurt like hell.
1.5 mile warm-up to whittier and around;
1 mile 5:30; 500m recovery jog
1 mile 5:37; 500m recovery jog
1.5 mile cool-down

Great speed workout! You should run the Loudoun Street Mile this year. It's a fast course.
