I decided to run for 30 minutes today to see how far I can go. The first half felt great. But I struggled on the second half, where I had to stop five times to catch some air and get more energy. The next time I do my 30 minute run, I want to stop less often than this run while maintaining my pace.

Learn to slow down and not stop completely, stopping completely usually kills you later on. 30 minutes might be too much to start out at anyways, but 20-25 is usually a good starting time then move it up to 30. Right now I do 17 for a 2 mile, but might move to just running for an extended period of time like 20 minutes or 30 minutes like I do at the gym.

Yeah. Stopping definitely killed me later in the run as well. I should definitely try to slow down instead of completely stopping. I don't think 30 minutes was too much. I learrned that I have to be more mentally focus and put more determination into the run.

About every ~5-10 minutes, I would increase my speed. Next time I do this, I'll just increase my speed every ten minutes.
