  1. RUN
good Getting Back Into Shape 4 mi 00:31 07:40 pace

I felt good doing this today. I didn't increase my speed through most of the run, except on the last 400 meters where I started to increase it to 8 miles/hour.

I was getting distracted half-way... read more

  2. RUN
alright Getting Back Into Shape 2.88 mi 00:25 08:42 pace

I tried to maintain my pace in this run. Overall, I think I did well today in achieving that. I was more focus on the rhythm and breathing.

  3. RUN
good Getting Back Into Shape 1.01 mi 00:07:19 07:14 pace

My main goal for this run was to try to open my strides more. I think I did that successfully. It felt great running this and it's my fastest one-mile past thus far. I want to do some short runs... read more

  4. RUN
blah Getting Back Into Shape 3.69 mi 00:30 08:08 pace

Learn to slow down and not stop completely, stopping completely usually kills you later on. 30 minutes might be too much to start out at anyways, but 20-25 is usually a good starting time then move it up to 30. Right now I do 17 for a 2 mile, but might move to just running for an extended period of time like 20 minutes or 30 minutes like I do at the gym.

Yeah. Stopping definitely killed me later in the run as well. I should definitely try to slow down instead of completely stopping. I don't think 30 minutes was too much. I learrned that I have to be more mentally focus and put more determination into the run.

About every ~5-10 minutes, I would increase my speed. Next time I do this, I'll just increase my speed every ten minutes.
