What my coach recognized was that I had no natural athletic ability so he led me distance running, where someone with no natural ability can still work his butt off and be respectable. Guess that's why he's a hall of fame coach. He knows what he's doing.

good Great day for a run 9.05 mi 01:07 07:26 pace

    tired Yuck 9.05 mi 01:11 07:48 pace

Nothing wanted to cooperate today. The Garmin started before I pressed start for some reason, my legs never really got started and the rain started, then stopped, then started again.

Unfortunately, it fit well with the rest of the day. At least it was good recovery and I'm feeling halfway decent pre-run today.

I'll give him another visit and see what he says. Sadly, the doctor who is also a competitive runner left the clinic several years ago and things get far more expensive (far less cheap to be honest, yesterday was a free annual exam) if I go to another clinic.
