Seems like u are burnt out from all your training runs for your Marathon. Maybe u should scale back on your mileage some more and ease up on your long runs. We wouldnt want you to be injured again.

I know a guy who gave up his left arm in order to be ambi-dexterious. (that was my dads favorite joke, and we always thought it was corny, so now I terrorize others with it. Ah, the cycle of violence.)

Relax and enjoy. No worries as to no gas in the tank, make sure you eat and it will all come together. As you run more the running fitness will come. Send those negative thoughts adrift and say Hey I DID IT. Way to go getting out there.

New kicks! Minimal to no shine splints with these; they are considerably more effective at helping me eliminate by heel strike and improve midfoot strike! Overall impressed!

Glad you found shoes that help with the shin splints. I had some issues after a while with the free's and went more minimalist yet, but the fact that these are working for you is awesome!! I hated shin splints!!
