  1. RUN
    Intervals 7x800's and 4x400's 7 mi

Went to the track after I had a nice nap after work :). It was windy but it felt good to be outdoors on the track again. Cranked out two 800's WAY too fast (3:23, 3:28) and so then changed gears ... read more

I don't mind the treadmill at times, but I just read an article about how it gives you a false readout of pace because every machines is calibrated differently and how the treadmill is more abusive on your hip flexors; so I just wanted to see what my true time was w/o the aid of the treadmill pacing me. Plus my heel doesn't like the treadmill much. It was actually kinda fun!

David, Brian - great weather today, huh? Looks a little like February! More snow tonight, I hear. ugh!

yeah, I totally agree. I definitely think my treadmill is false. According to my run yesterday, I should be able to run a marathon in 3:31! That's what all the calculators say. However....I'm seriously thinking of doing a whole marathon on there before my surgery. At least I could manage my own hernia ice and achieve my goal...whereas I don't know if I could given my school schedule for the next 3 years. Then after that, I will be even older

Nice run, Jill! I am doing the CO marathon Sunday. If you're going to be around for the expo Saturday, we're going to have a little DM meetup between 2 or 2:30 and 4:00. David and I will be there in our dailymile shirts, in the bar/coffee shop to the left as you enter the hotel through the main doors. It'd be great if you can join us.

I was going to have a beer but I knew I had a long day ahead with some client stuff so didn't need to take a nap this afternoon after a 10:00 beer. Haha. Thanks, David!
