good The usual 4.32 mi 00:38 08:48 pace

My legs have been feeling kind of that way on my last few longer runs, think that is why they were getting slower & slower. Van thinks I don't rest enough...you & I are a lot alike in that aspect :)

This will be my fourth. Course has some scenic spots but the crowds are what makes it what it is. Oh and the college kids handing out beer at mile 25 is always nice too (though it is always cheap beer).

I feel the same way. I had this time in mind to be under, but its harder than I thought so I am trying to not put so much pressure on myself. I feel like I just keep getting slower & slower. I don't know how people, who I shall not name, keep such a fast pace over such a long distance!!

All I can tell you is to go and enjoy every moment of the race. Don't try to go out too fast, better to leave a little in the tank and finish strong than to struggle to finish. Find a nice comfortable pace and just go with it. Enjoy the crowds, the other runners and the scenery. It's a great race and a memory you will never forget. You never forget your first.
