Practiced the kidney loop in all poses today, which involves drawing your lower ribs back, tightening abs, so you don't arch your lower back too much. I think it helped me balance in forearm stand for a few seconds a few inches away from the wall today.
I felt really focused in yoga today, which is nice. I've found that if I have trouble balancing in simple poses in class, it is directly related to how many different directions my brain is going. If my head is clear and relaxed, balancing is always easier. I can learn a lot from yoga!!
