Joining a Girls On Track team in Camp Pendleton as a once a week coach for the rest of the season. Today was their practice 5K, so the toughest part of the walk/run was spending my time cajoling and chatting with the girls who were walking (actually it was really fun). I convinced them to run a couple of short sections of each lap, and we got 'er done. Drove by a beautiful all weather track on base that looked open and had different groups of people walking and running on it, not all Marine-looking. I wonder if I could run on it?
The best thing I did for my running program today was the pedicure that came with a foot massage. Man, that felt good!
