Well after an extremely disappointing week I have finally got a good run in. At the end of last week training was going to perfect. I was going for a pr on the East Bank Trail and flying trough the technical parts of the trail probably at sub 7 pace when I slipped on some slick mud went down and smashed my knee on some small rocks and mud. When I got the mud washed off in the river I found I had several bloody gashes on my knee cap and could feel it starting to swell already. On top of that I actually found a full time job which is good for all aspects of my life except a 120+ mile training plain. Long story short I had a wapping total of 16 miles last week and am going to have to rethink my training heading in to the Fall 50 only 2 months out


You can do it man ... you just have to be more creative in squeezing in the runs.
