    Started off bad, and went downhill from there. Must still be recoverimg from Goofy. Was planning on going 10, so wore Mizuno rather than Newtons.

      My run was by no means fast today, but surviving it made me happy. Usually takes me a full 3-4 weeks before I fully kick the dead legs.

    Starting to do well in the Newtons. Got weird shin splint, but more lateral kinda thing around mile four, ran through it, never came back.

      how long have you been running in the newtons? How slowly did you break them in (or break yourself into them I guess?) I'm thinking I might have done too much too soon, so I'm curious as to what others have done

      I love the newtons but I ran that way naturally. I did not need to break them in. Guess it depends on the runner.

      I had a mid to forefoot strike to begin with, but I think the fact that there is so much less cushioning in the Newtons is what has been pissing my foot off. Or atleast that's what the kind people at Newton told me, haha.
