  2. RUN
    alright Treadmill 10 mi 01:40 10:00 pace

We got a bunch more snow last night/this morning and I really didn't want a repeat of yesterday's cut-my-own-path-through-the-snow nonsense. My quads were completely trashed from plowing the sidewa... read more

tired Sucktastic Suckfest 16 mi 03:02 11:22 pace

That was the most agonizing run ever! All but maybe three miles on unpaved sidewalks. Roads were out of the question, no way was I sharing the road with those drivers! Of course it was plenty cold ... read more

  10. RUN
great Railroad bed 8.02 mi 01:32 11:24 pace

Ran the railroad bed. Big mess. Some knee deep ice crusted puddles and lots of thick sticky mud. So... It was fun! Can wait for it to turn green again!

  11. RUN
    great Hilton-Hamlin 14.03 mi 02:12 09:22 pace

Gorgeous out! Ran out west, near the old house. Got a little nostalgic. Got to see two horse farms, a dairy farm, a herd of alpacas and a whole lotta dogs!

  12. #dailymission Do you have a secret for turning a boring long run into something at least a little more fun? I'm a numbers kind of girl... I count stuff: motorcycles, dogs, cars that almost hit me...

I just discovered the joy of podcasts when running indoors. When I get into it, I kind of tune out and go on auto-pilot. Outdoors I make an effort to look around whether it is landscaping, cloud formations, etc. Funny you mention the numbers thing. I once ran a half marathon with a MIM who said she counted as a mantra .

    great Work 6 6 mi 00:58 09:36 pace

Brought along some music so I could force myself to slow down with out getting bored. Found a nice mellow album and chilled.

  14. #dailymission Are you a fashionista or do you just don whatever's handy/clean? Whatever is clean(ish). But sometimes I go out of my way to find hideous combinations.

  18. RUN
    good Irondequoit 8.02 mi 01:16 09:24 pace

It snowed in Hilton last night, the wet crunchy stuff. Would have made for a very peaceful run but had to bring offspring to 1.5 hour soccer practice in Irondequoit. Made more sense to run then.
