Nice work Kara! I need to get back into the racing mode. I'm glad you didn't have any snow for the race...although this might have made it a little more "jingle bell-y."

Short ride to pick up a newspaper - except the paper I wanted had gone up to 75 cents and I only had 2 quarters....bummer.

Warm-up - Bike.
Favorite - Hyperextensions holding 10lbs.
Least fav - Hamstring curls - back down to 20lbs.
Tunes - The Dandy Warhols
Finished with 5% incline walk - 2 miles. -
Getting ready for the gym. My razor screen was damaged by airport security...Have to shave my legs the old fashioned way.

Today's run - in the fog! Changed the recovery time between intervals. (8x400) Increasing to 90 secs. And ended fast!

I like the protein post on your blog. Would you consider reprinting it here so others on this site can see it? I see so many people on dailymile complaining of being tired or lack the energy to run, bike or swim. Maybe the lack of protein in their diet could be a part of their problem. Thanks for providing the info. I'll try the extra protein and see if it improves my energy.

Discovered my gym was closed for painting…Bummer. So headed over to a different one. (Part of my Feel the Fear and Do it Anyways challenge.) Nice squat bars and fans – but we were caged in!
