Did not bring music and due to the weight lifting workout last night I just had dead legs tonight. I really was struggling for motivation and wanted to quit with each step. I was supposed to run at an easier pace with 3 min surges every 15 min. I did not bring watch so I am not sure how much I picked up on those surges but it was rough tonight. But I did it. I got all 6.5 of my scheduled miles in before boot camp. I am a sucker for punishment :)

You had dead legs and wanted to quit but you stuck it out for over an hour? That's pretty cool if you ask me.

The fact that you finished that run means you have a lot more motivation and determination than you think!
    Great job getting it done!

Your legs were tired... so you ran 6.5 miles and then went to boot camp. That's logical and not insane at all. ;-) VERY well done!

I love your perseverance. I did that once. I had a super size fries and no ketchup. By soldiered on and ate each and every one tomato-sauce free. It was painful, but in the end I was richly rewarded. ;)
