  1. RUN
great 1 mile trying the new Trail G... 1 mi 00:12:00 12:00 pace

Just continuing to work on my form & proper alignment top down. Felt great. I'm hoping that taking this time to work on form and build a proper base will pay dividends long term.

  2. RUN
great XC skiing 4.5 mi 00:55 12:13 pace

First time on skis in 10 years, felt great. Also spent a good hour foam rolling and stretching.

  3. Hey DM friends! I'm back to tracking here after a while. Found I got too competitive before and pushed myself farther/faster/sooner than I should have. I think I learned my lesson. I got t... read more

Welcome back, Dan! I fell off of regular logging for a while too, when life got too busy. Good that you recognize when you go too far too fast, now you can check it. Good work easing back and adding in the crosss-training! Congrats on the marathon.

  4. RUN
    good 22.26 mi

dress rehearsal for the marathon in 2 weeks. went well.

  5. RUN
great 15 miles at dawn 15 mi 02:48 11:11 pace

considering I've been nursing some nagging injuries and haven't gone long in a month it went well. Legs felt good all the way and still do 2 hours later. I took it easy and did the run/... read more

  6. RUN
great 5 mile progressive tempo run 5 mi 00:40 08:00 pace

Started at 8:50/mile, last mile was 7:05. Felt great the whole way...perhaps I was burning off some frustration from our surprise ass-beating at work last night.

  7. RUN
    great 10 mi 01:30 09:00 pace

Kept an even pace for the first 6 miles and had enough left in my legs to pick up the pace the last 4. Finally a smart run.

  8. RUN
    good 14 mi 02:10 09:17 pace

First 7 were too easy, second 7 not so easy. I need to train my legs to slow down and conserve energy to sustain a good pace for these long runs.

  9. RUN
great 6 mile progressive tempo 6 mi 00:50 08:20 pace

Started at 8:45-9/ mile for 3, then dropped to low-mid 7/mile for the last 3.
