    Started a speed workout and ended up feeling dizzy and very cold. Had goosebumps over my entire body, and vision was blurry. Decided to give up and walk home.

    4 sets of two 400s- one lap fast, 8:30 pace, one lap easy, 10:30 pace (eight laps in all)

    This was a tough race for me- really exercised my mental toughness this time. Very hilly and humid, but I had a very encouraging pacer. Very happy with the 10:45 on such a hilly course!
