Hawthorne Trail - Tempo 12 mi

Hit the trail for a 5 Mi tempo session. The plan was to do 5 Mi, starting at 6:00 pace and gradually speed up to about 5:40 pace. I got pretty close to that with a total time of 29:14. I missed some of the splits because I just wasn't watching for the little white spray paint lines hard enough. The last mile was a little slow but it was mostly uphill and therefore from an effort perspective, still increasing tempo. 5:57, 5:55, 5:40 (downhill), 5:46, 5:55 (uphill)
