Got some work to do with the layering and finding the right (warm) socks, before running in the cold again. My feet were half numb after this stinkin' little run.

Always difficult for any of us to deal with injuries. Rest the leg for 4 weeks and resume and see what next goal brings you. I swim when I can't ride.

I am so sorry to see that the leg hasn't gotten better. Hugs! It's always smart to live to run another day no matter how much we wish it were different. You will be back strong soon!

Definitely not bad etiquette. If they could've pushed at the end too, they would've or should've.

Not bad etiquette, you are there to run the best race you can.

I was taught to sprint the end if you can. When I race I do it for myself and don't take into consideration who I'm passing or being passed by ... unless its a stroller, I despise being passed by strollers!
