85° 62%H. Never-ending hill x2. You can run up, but you'll never make it to the top. I really thought I was going to do like 3 repeats, but honestly the first one I thought my throat was on fire and 3/4 of the way up my body is begging me to quit. I forgot how hard this hill was, even though I named it the never-ending hill for some reason - that certainly became crystal clear tonight. The funny part is I didn't even get all the way up, there is another off road stone trail that goes up further but with my ankle 50/50 I probably won't be doing that anytime soon.

Second time up was honestly a little better - I knew what was coming and tried to conserve as much as possible, but again by 3/4 of the way everything was burning. I remember a similar feeling doing a V02 max test on a treadmill with max incline - this was exactly the same kind of torture. It's funny how certain stresses take you back to former experiences. My legs were shot by the time I made it to the top and I felt so much better when I got back to normal level ground, even though the legs were tired I still was feeling good and finished back home in decent shape and did a full mile cooldown.
