74º long run. Well I wanted to go for 8 on this one, but I knew around half way that that probably wasn't going to happen. The hills just ate me up. I maintained a steady pace throughout, but the soccer complex is undulating and i had 3 loops to run. I did okay as long as i had a downhill to recover on, but mile 5 started an uphill that continued through the entire next mile. As soon as i hit six i just stopped as I was breathing heavy and i still had more uphill to go. So i walked about 100m to recover and finished out another mile. Hydration was also a small issue as I just had a sip of water before i left, had i stopped to drink around 4 I'm pretty sure I would have had a bit more incentive to climb that last part of the hill and finish out at least 7.

All in all a good run. This was a great indicator of my stamina, which is pretty poor compared to what I'm used to, but each one of these is just another link in the chain. This was basically a hill workout, but I normally run those harder. I'd hardly call move forward at any cost pace hill work, but whatever.
